Michigan has a new record brown trout!  The three state record browns prior to this monster were taken in waters off Manistee county but this fish was caught just north of Manistee in Frankfort.   Casey Richey landed this whopper yesterday morning while fishing with his son Shane.  This beautiful brown tipped the scales at 36 pounds and 13 oz, shattering the old record by over 2 pounds.  It measured 43 inches in lenght.
