Fishing has been good but you need to be willing to run way off shore.  We have been burning a lot of gas the past few days, fishing 12 -15 miles out.  Team Happy Go Lucky finished 20th in the Pro division of the Manistee's Bud Pro Am.  We had certainly hoped for a better finish but things just didn't go our way.  We caught 6 nice fish each day but if wasn't enough to be in the running for any of the prize money.  Today we fished with a group of Michgan Legislators and had a wonderful day on the water.  After a slow start we worked our way out deep and found good numbers of fish out over 600 - 750 feet of water.  Our final count was a respectable 10 for 14 with the majority of our fish coming in the last hour.
