Fishing continues to be good from the port of Manistee.   I have had some odd trips lately but still managed to take decent numbers of fish.  Friday's charter didn't leave the dock until after 8am and wanted to be back in time for lunch.  We managed 5  late-morning fish and had an absolutely great time on the water.  The lake was calm and we had a fantastic time visiting between fish.  One of the best parts of this business is meeting people.  Friday's customers will go down as some of my favorites.  My weekend trip was canceled due to emergency surgery but might not have gotten off the dock anyways due to the weather.  Last nights trip was a short sunset cruise which still managed to go 3 for 5 in just over an hour of fishing.  I am anxious to get out on the lake for a regular trip as the fish appear to be stacking up out front in good numbers.    I will try to remember the camera so that we can post some current pictures.
