Well the boat is one step closer to getting in the water. We moved it from storage in Kaleva down to River Road where it will be receiving a fresh coat of bottom paint and a good scrubbing. We also need to replace the packing in the stuffing boxes before it hits the water. Spring is here and I am getting the itch to get out on the lake. Reports on browns are slow for the most part. A few are being taken along with lake trout and an occasional king. The water still needs to warm up before the Spring King action gets going out on the shelf.
