Sorry for the total lack of reports.  The fishing is really starting to take off.  Good numbers of fish are being taken off Manistee right now.  With the exception of the net near Onekame the nets are marked better than they were this Spring.  It seems like the best fishing has been 120 and deeper with the Kings coming 90 - 120 down and a few steelhead being taken on full cores.  Hootchies and flies are working best for these deep Kings.  Some are also being taken on glow spoons.  The fish are in great shape and are in the mid to high teens size-wise.  Look for things to get even better as we move into August.
